Location and Route to Jembong Waterfall
To get to Jembong Waterfall, you need to go to Buleleng Regency, then to Ambengan Village in Sukasada District. If you drive from Denpasar, the distance is about 65 km. The journey begins by heading towards Bedugul, then continue towards Gitgit. After about 4 km from Gitgit Waterfall, you will find an intersection with a sharp left turn. Turn left and continue traveling for another 4 km until you reach the location of Jembong Waterfall.
To get to the waterfall, you only need to take a 200-meter path. You will be given the option to choose a smooth path or descend the stairs, according to your preference. For trekking enthusiasts, this trip offers fresh and calming natural scenery, making the journey more enjoyable. When you’re almost there, you’ll start to hear the gurgling of the waterfall, further motivating you to arrive soon.
Uniqueness and Tourism Attraction
Jembong Waterfall has two levels. The first tier is 15 meters high, with crystal clear water flowing through rocks that are tilted at about 75 degrees, creating a beautiful view. Underneath is a natural reservoir pool about 1 meter deep. The second level is about the same height and also has a clear pool. Here, you can enjoy the view while crossing a wooden bridge that leads directly to the waterfall.

There are three natural pools here with different depths: 60 cm and 80 cm for children, and 110 cm for adults, which can be used for swimming or simply soaking in the fresh water.

- Entrance ticket price: To enjoy the beautiful panorama of the waterfall is around IDR 10,000 per person for visitors outside Ambengan Village, while for local villagers, the entrance ticket is only around IDR 5,000. This ticket fee includes access to two natural swimming pools in the waterfall area.
- Operating hours: Jembong Waterfall is open daily from 08:00 to 17:00 WITA.
